Joe Boyd Mixed Media Workshops @ The Crypt Gallery, London

These hands-on mixed-media workshops take place inside the Crypt Gallery, an uncanny and inspiring space in central London. Happening alongside my exhibition ‘Strange Fascinations’, the sessions invite you to make physical posters with me using collage, print and experimentation with everyday objects.

No previous experience is required. I’ll guide you through mark-making, layering and composition, to combine all your assets into bold, graphic posters.

I have delivered workshops and lectures around the world at many renowned Universities and Colleges, but this is the first time I have offered an in-person workshop to the public.

Groups are to be intentionally small so I have the opportunity to talk with each participant and welcome your questions throughout the afternoon.

The workshop will begin promptly at 1:00pm so please arrive in good time to get set up.

The Crypt gallery is located on Euston Road, but please use the entrance gate on Duke's Road and enter the Crypt through the red doors.

The nearest tube station is Euston, which is directly opposite. Kings Cross St. Pancras is approximately an 8 minute walk.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Pre-booking is essential. We can not accept bookings on the door. 

You are welcome to bring your own refreshments, however alcohol or any illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

There is no smoking or vaping anywhere on the grounds of the Crypt or St. Pancras Church. 

Please be aware that access to the Crypt is down 15 steps. 

There may be photography and video taken on site. Please let us know if you don't want your face to be shown.
