Joe uses unconventional equipment and processes such as scanners, microscopes and projectors, to recycle household items and other non-traditional materials into abstract pieces of art. 

Joe has delivered lectures and workshops at many international schools including Polimoda school of fashion in Florence, University of Arts London and McMurry University in Texas to encourage students to have more freedom with their creativity.
